1940 Oldsmobile Series 70 Woodie Wagon, beautifully restored, stunning Ebony Black paint compliments the gorgeous woodwork, excellent Black interior, gleaming chrome trim, smooth 230 cu in 95 HP straight 6 cylinder engine, 3-speed transmission, reported to be the only 1940 Oldsmobile Woodie to be built on the longer 120 inch wheel base 70 Series, as all the Olds Woodies that year were built on the smaller 60 Series chassis. Presumed to be a prototype, as the 1941 Oldsmobile Woodie wagons were built on the 70 Series chassis, and were also built at Midstate Body of Waterloo, NY.
